What type of organisation do I want to work for?
Since 1889, Belfast Central Mission has been working to improve people's lives. We started small by helping the working class families of the inner city, and now we have grown to support young people, families and older people all over Northern Ireland.
I want to work flexibly. Is this an option?
We offer a range of work patterns across different roles, and would be happy to discuss these options with you.
Is there scope for progression in my role?
Across BCM we invest in our people, and many of our senior team members have started out in frontline roles. While our priority is always delivering a top quality services, we view progression as a marker of a healthy workplace.
What is Copelands like as a work location?
Copelands is a newly purpose-built residential facility, and this includes excellent staff facilities. Staff working on site receive meals depending on their shift patterns, and the team has built a fantastic ethic and affection for the home and its people. This was recognized in the 2024 Peninsula Care Awards, when our team won Care Home of the Year.
