BCM NI can say they have opened a new shop, but here we are!
Taking inspiration from our sister home
Kirk House , Copelands has recently opened its own general store, and with a name that holds special significant to the wider organisation. 𝑮𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒐𝒓'𝒔 𝑪𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝑺𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒆
Residents marked the opening of the store alongside former members of the Grosvenor Hall congregation, which ceased meeting in 2025. The congregation had donated all of the products for our shop which will directly benefit our residents.
This new service will provide them with easy access to toiletries when they run out, meaning they do not have to rely on family and friends to bring items in for them. This is designed to offer greater choice and independence for our residents, with proceeds being used to stock our shelves.
To say thank you, we invited the congregation to Copelands for a 3-course lunch and to officially open the shop. It will open to residents one day a week starting at the end of February.
